While in prison, you can spend your time or invest your time. Richard Phillips, who served the most years in prison of any exoneree on record, chose to invest. In prison, that decision doesn't change a life sentence, but changes you within. He chose to invest in a talent he previously didn't know he had. He chose to paint, mainly watercolors.
